Meet Jen.

Jen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and has been working in mental health for more than 15 years. Throughout this time, she has supported individuals that are coping with significant life transitions, relationship concerns, sudden or chronic illness, depression, anxiety, and grief and loss. She is also highly specialized and clinically trained in infertility support after becoming personally aware of the challenges that those experiencing infertility encounter.

Jen draws from her experiences providing individual therapy as part of a counseling center as well as providing care in a medical setting. She takes an integrative theoretical approach that is tailored to the individual based on a variety of clinical modalities (ACT, CBT, DBT, Systems Theory) and works to empower clients with understanding and compassion as they navigate difficult moments in life.

She recognizes that infertility, relationship issues, grief, medical concerns, postpartum needs, as well as other major life transitions can become all consuming and provides a non-judgmental space for skill building and support. Jen creates an environment that is warm and welcoming. She believes that authenticity, compassion and humor are vital to making it through difficult times and this comes through naturally in her counseling sessions. She encourages clients to lean into their emotions because that's often when growth happens.

Outside of work Jen loves to hike in the Colorado mountains, is a voracious reader (mostly thrillers or memoirs), she never turns down a game night with friends, and always leaves the grocery store with 2 bags of mint chocolate Milano cookies.
